Soho Wala launched in November 2018 and quickly established itself as a prime spot for top-class Indian street food.  The flavours here are effusively representative of street delights found on the streets of the subcontinent and the central London location within the luxurious Courthouse Hotel is a welcome invitation for Londoners to explore this early pioneer.  Housed in a Grade II building, a beautiful eating hall greets patrons on Great Malborough Street directly opposite the famous Carnaby Street and right around the corner from Oxford Street station.  Head Chef Rajesh Parmar  keeps it simple, bold and authentic with stalwarts such as Mirchi Matchstick, a lovely version of spicy chicken and Pani Puri, flavour bombs that have been bewitching palettes on the streets of Bombay for eon.  There is also the bold India afternoon tea experience complete with Chai, Coriander & mint chutney in brioche buns and Tandoori chicken morsels whilst Momo, originally from Sino-Indian border states and Nepal, give a taste of the ever-popular Indo-Chinese  fusion cuisine.  There’s also Maru Na Bhajia –  Marwari pakodas and fritters from the Northwestern state of Rajasthan and Byadgi Murgchicken tikka with the eponymous dried chillies.  So definitely loads of smallplates to share and starters and street fare but also mains like Laal Maas and Goan Fish Curry to have a proper curry experience.  Group dining is available and every occasion can be catered for.

Most excitingly, bang on cue for the longer evenings and gorgeous Summer nights, Soho Wala has launched Bollywood Beat Nights; a fantastically vibrant new weekly celebration of Indian street food, sumptuous cocktails, and summer-worthy DJ sets.  Looking to electrify Soho every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7PM onwards, Bollywood Beat Nights will be a celebration of Indian-inspired cocktails bursting with bold spices and exotic flavours including the Masala Chai Martini and Soho Wala Saffron Sunset, while feasting on aforesaid beauties from the a la carte menu.  The atmosphere will be curated by DJ Dhruv, whose sets mix Bollywood, Bhangra, Pop, R&B, Garage, and Basement for the perfect soundtrack to kickstart the weekend.
