Have a Craic at Embassy Gardens’ Bloomsday Festival This Weekend

The hugely popular Bloomsday Festival atEmbassy Gardens, an all-day celebration of Irish culture, music, literature, food and drink. is returning this Saturday 15th June.


Co-hosted by Darby’s – the oyster bar, bakery, and grill restaurant from chef-owner Robin Gill – Bloomsday at Embassy Gardens celebrates the life of esteemed Irish poet James Joyce, and offers a jam-packed programme of activities and events, featuring a line-up of incredible talent – both established and emerging – from Ireland.

Highlights will include:

  • A headline performance from singer-songwriter Imelda May, who will take to the stage at 4PM
  • An all-day line-up of music acts and spoken word performances, from the likes of Emma Dabiri, Jeanette Murphy, Lisa Canny, Amber Jade, Alibhe Reddy, Arveene, Blanid, Bukky the Person, Nially, Gareth Keane, Fintan James and Cathal Broderick.
  •  ‘Try An Instrument’ sessions – such as the Irish flute and fiddle – with leading young people’s music charity World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens.
  • A pop-up craft food and drink market, including delicious offerings from official event partners Teeling Whiskey, LVMH, Board Bia, Gin Guys, Campari, 40ft Brewery, Five Farms Irish Cream, Gusbourne, Dash Burgers, Wine and Rind and more.
  • Irish Ceilidh dancing and other interactive entertainment.
