The Other House South Kensington, the first opening of the pioneering group of Residents’ Clubs, is proud to announce its official launch this month of The Club at The Other House. Since it opened its doors in July 2022, The Other House has been at the forefront of a transformative shift in London’s hospitality scene, seamlessly integrating apartment-style living with hotel service, a buzzing local hub and a stunning private club for its residents. Now fully integrated into the neighbourhood, it has turned its sights on formally launching The Club to the local and international community. An exclusive enclave in the heart of London’s Royal Borough, it is set to become the go-to place for discerning members seeking a congenial blend of work, leisure, wellness and cultural enrichment. It is for the wise and the curious – those looking to move the world forward a notch and those looking to enjoy new experiences.
Wih this official launch in April 2025, The Club will introduce a number of additional features. First and foremost, The Club is expanding its footprint by almost 25%, enhancing its spaces to better serve members, including the introduction of a new dedicated co-working area in its chic cocktail bar, the Owl & Monkey, during work hours. The Club’s two other stylish lounges – the moody, atmospheric Keeping Room and the light filled conservatory, Hogsmire, will be dedicated to connection, business get-togethers, spa experiences and socialising, ensuring each member can create their own individual balance of work and leisure.
Hogsmire, derived from the old name for the Gloucester Road nearby, ‘the Hogs Moor’, looking onto a serene vitality pool, has been elevated through the introduction of Hogs, a sophisticated new bar. This and the culinary team has created an exclusive club menu, offering everything from indulgent home comforts and salads to nutritious classics. Wellness is also a priority in the club, with members not only having access to the vitality pool, but a variety of wellbeing treatments including OM sound healing and state-of-the-art fitness facilities, ensuring members can recharge in style.
Membership options have been thoughtfully curated to reflect the diverse needs of potential members. Whether it’s the Full Membership for those seeking a regular community in the city, the Under 30s Membership tailored for the next generation of innovators, or the Overseas Membership designed for frequent international visitors, The Club ensures flexibility without compromising exclusivity. The membership options will also include ‘Club Collection’, being available for the Autumn ahead of the opening of The Other House Covent Garden, the group’s second property in Q4 this year. This will give members access to both spaces and this will continue to expand with further planned openings.
The Club will offer a curated membership programme, bringing a calendar of world-class events, from private music performances and fashion showcases to personal talks from global business leaders, bespoke dining experiences and partnerships with British icons such as the Royal Albert Hall and the MCC Lords Cricket Club.
The Club is also introducing a calendar of social events, catering to an increasing desire to find new opportunities to connect. Recent trends indicate a shift towards intimate events, such as supper clubs, and The Club has responded with the launch of The Other Supper to be held monthly. Equally the Club will provide some traditional nightlife too, with its very own DJ. The Club at The Other House, offers a space where members can forge genuine connections, engage in enriching events, and find both respite and great company away from the city’s hustle.
