Raise a Pint at The Duke of Greenwich’s Beer Fest 2024!

This September, on Saturday the 14th, The Duke of Greenwich invites you to experience the ultimate celebration of craft beer. Mark the end of summer with a full day of brews, bites, and beats at The Duke of Greenwich Beer Fest. Running from 12 pm to 11 pm, this all-day event will take place in The Duke’s extensive beer garden, where each brewery will have its own stand, fully equipped with taps, kegs, and their top brews. Showcasing London’s finest craft breweries, the festival offers something for everyone—whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or new to the world of craft beer. Skip Oktoberfest this year and join The Duke in the heart of Greenwich for an unforgettable day filled with exceptional beer, delicious food, and a lively atmosphere.

Craft Beer Lineup:

For just £10, guests will receive entry to the festival, which includes a free pint of house lager, a branded tasting glass, and tasters from the beer festival suppliers. The Duke of Greenwich has partnered with some of the most esteemed independent craft breweries in London, each bringing their unique flavours and brewing philosophies to the festival.

Here’s a sneak peek of who will be there:

  • DEYA Brewery – New Cross: excited to confirm a very rare, limited beer release. DEYA x Planet Wax have teamed up to present the Deya Friends collaboration that places the spotlight on some of the amazing independent beer retailers across the UK. The Duke of Greenwich will also have DEYA on cask for the festival, which again is super rare treat!
  • Bianca Road Brew Co – Bermondsey: Brewing hoppy pale ales and lagers in a 25hL brewhouse, Bianca Road Brew Co offers an endless variety of tastes and aromas. With a passion for brewing and a commitment to freshness, their beers are always served at their peak.
  • By The Horns Brewing Co. – Wimbledon: Founded in 2011 by Alex Bull & Chris Mills, this brewery was born out of a desire to bring more choice to UK pubs and bars. Their vision focuses on creating approachable beers that emphasise taste, choice, and flavours. By The Horns will be serving from their two taps, with a selection of their best brews.
  • The Bullfinch Brewery – Herne Hill: Inspired by the travels and passion of former sound engineer Ryan McLean, Bullfinch Brewery blends experimental ideas with traditional brewing techniques to create progressive, high-quality beers. Brewed in a historic 5 Barrel kit, Bullfinch’s offerings are as distinct as they are delicious.
  • Drop Project – Mitcham: Focused on pushing creative boundaries, Drop Project brews some of the freshest, most flavourful beers in the industry. Their commitment to high-quality, innovative brews shines through in every pint, making them a standout at the festival.
  • Ignition Brewery – Lewisham: A not-for-profit brewery with a mission, Ignition Brewery employs and trains people with learning disabilities to brew outstanding beer. They’re bringing their own taps and two of their finest beers to share with festival-goers.
  • London Beer Lab – Brixton: Since opening in 2013, London Beer Lab has become a hub for beer education and brewing innovation. With up to 30 draught lines featuring commercial beers, exclusive nano brews, and guest beers, they’re a must-visit for any beer enthusiast.
  • Mondo Brewing Company – Battersea: Owned, founded, and run by brewers, Mondo is dedicated to brewing bold, balanced beers with an emphasis on quality. They’ll be bringing their expertise and a selection of their finest creations to the festival, crafted on both their large-scale and pilot brewing systems.

From Mexico with Love:

  • Tooeasybeverages’ Margaritas: Because every festival needs tequila! Lucinda and James are dedicated to making and curating small batches of high-quality margaritas in a thoughtful and fun way.

Even though they can’t attend in person, Kernel Brewery (Bermondsey), Distortion Brewery (Battersea), Bexley Brewery (Erith), Anspach & Hobday (Bermondsey), and Villages (Deptford) will also be providing their top-notch beers for the event. Kernel’s brews focus on simplicity and balance, whether it’s their pale ales, dark ales, or mixed fermentation beers. Distortion Brewery, born in a South London garage, will be offering their fresh keg range straight from their serving tanks. Bexley Brewery produces award-winning beers, Anspach & Hobday is known for combining traditional brewing methods with modern techniques, and Villages creates vibrant and flavourful beers inspired by the communities of Deptford.
