Sri Lankan tea brand Devagiri do amazing teas – unique blends like vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom chai, and Earl Grey. Its story began when owners Roshana Gammampila and Mike Bailey heroically took over Devagiri with the heroic aim of ensuring that the resident community was not displaced. A little background here: Rosh has been a Volunteer Grants Panel Advisor with Crisis since 2013 and, having lived in London for many years, she and Mike have long been concerned about the growing challenge of homelessness there. So, for the last two years, they have been delighted to supply Crisis with all the tea they need for Crisis at Christmas. Last year this was 50,000 cups!
In keeping with their noble intentions, Devagiri Estate is a revolutionary newcomer to the UK tea market and very proud to launch their farm-to-table brand of ethical teas to reputable trade outlets across the country.
