Welcome to Whittlebury Hall Hotel

Located in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, the hotel at Whittlebury Hall aims to bring you all the comforts of home in a peaceful and elegant setting. Oak trees on the site are over 1,000 years old and many now have preservation orders placed on them due to the unique and native Whittlebury beetle. They have fixed all the oaks and replanted all the ones previously taken down. Whittlewood was originally the biggest wood in England and was twice the size of Sherwood Forest. The land was originally used as a jousting ground for the Kings and Queens of England from 1152. It also featured a royal palace that King Henry 2nd used.Trees in the park are called Black Oaks and these are the hardest oaks in the UK. Many were used to build The Victory during the Battle of Trafalgar.

All of the bedrooms are either doubles or twins with en suite bathrooms, designed to offer the very best in comfort and decorated to provide an elegant and restful escape.
